What you get when you work with us

Clear scope, written outputs, no lock-in. Here is a plain account of how we work and what sets us apart from generic AI consultants.

At a glance

The points below summarise what clients consistently find useful about working with us.

Written deliverables

Every engagement produces a document you can read, file and share — not a verbal briefing that fades with time.

Transparent fixed pricing

All three services have a fixed price in Malaysian Ringgit. There are no hourly rates and no ambiguous scope that grows the invoice.

Malaysian regulatory focus

Our compliance work is written around PDPA Malaysia, not adapted from a European or American framework.

Your documents, your storage

Source documents for knowledge assistants remain in your own storage throughout the engagement and beyond.

No lock-in on support

The monthly support plan has no minimum period. You can stop at any time without penalty or loss of your documents.

Honest limits

We state in every assessment where legal advice is needed. We do not present technical work as a substitute for professional legal counsel.

Practical expertise, not theoretical

Our work comes from direct experience with small Malaysian businesses — F&B operations, retail, professional services — rather than from academic frameworks applied at a distance. We know that a food court business in Melaka has different data concerns from a KL-based accounting firm.

When we produce an assessment, the steps in it are ordered by effort so you can work through them in a realistic sequence, not by theoretical risk level that ignores how much time a small team has available.

Direct experience with small business data operations

Assessments ordered by practical effort, not abstract risk

Industry context built into every recommendation

Clear statements about scope and limitations

Technology approach that stays explainable

The knowledge assistant we build for you cites the document and section behind each answer. This is deliberate. We think staff should be able to check the source rather than accept the output on faith. A system where the reasoning is visible is one the business can actually supervise.

We define out-of-scope areas before setup, not after something goes wrong. The correction period is there to catch errors systematically, not to reassure you that errors have not occurred.

Source citations with every assistant answer

Scope defined in writing before setup begins

Structured two-week correction period

Monthly answer quality reviews for ongoing clients

Contact that goes to a person

Support plan clients have a named response time for questions raised by their staff. When you contact us, you reach someone who knows your setup — not a support queue that routes to whoever is available.

We commit to specific response windows and we report on whether we met them in the monthly summary. If we did not, that is noted plainly.

Named response time commitment in writing

Monthly summary reports on response performance

Contact goes to a team member who knows your account

Issues documented and tracked, not managed verbally

Pricing sized for small businesses

The PDPA Readiness Review is priced at RM 138. It is designed to be accessible to a sole trader or a two-person team, not only to businesses that already have compliance budgets. We set the price based on what the work costs to do well, not what the market will bear.

Each service has a fixed price. There are no variation orders, no day-rate surprises, and no minimum engagement periods for anything except the knowledge assistant setup, which takes the time it takes.

How we compare

A comparison with the more common alternatives available to small Malaysian businesses.

Feature Generic AI consultant Sirih Labs
Malaysian regulatory context
Fixed prices published upfront
Written deliverable included
Source-cited assistant answers
Documents stay in client storage
No lock-in on ongoing support
Clear statement of where lawyer needed

This comparison describes our approach relative to commonly available alternatives. We make no specific claims about any named competitor.

What makes us different

Three things that we have not seen offered together elsewhere in this market.

The tepak sirih method

We approach each business like a compartmented tray — every piece of information in its proper place, nothing mixing where it should not. This shapes how we assess data flows and how we define assistant scope.

Advisory + technical in one team

We handle both the compliance assessment and the technical assistant setup. You do not need to coordinate between a legal consultant and a separate IT provider — though we recommend a lawyer for any follow-on legal work.

Start small, add later

The PDPA review at RM 138 is a complete product in itself. You are not required to take any other service. If a knowledge assistant makes sense after the review, we can discuss that separately.
